Note: The steps below may change if or when the LogMeIn.com website or installation process. However the steps will more than likely generally be the same.
Setup Account:

Browse to www.logmein.com
Click Products, then LogMeIn Free
Click Try it Free
Enter in the requested info to set up a new account. (NOTE: Make a note of the email and password you use, as you will need it again to log in to the host machine (you are currently on) later on from another PC).
Click Download and Install. Then click Save File.
Locate the item that was downloaded and double click it to run the installation application.
Follow the prompts of the installation application.
When the installation is finished you should see a small icon in your application tray that looks like a round blue circle with smaller white circles inside of it (in bottom right hand corner near your PC or Server clock).

Now open the email account that you used to set up the account and look for an email from LogMeIn.com Auto-Mailer. Click on the link to 'Activate' the new account. (Note: The LogMeIn free app will NOT work until you do this).

Go to another PC and browse to www.logmein.com
Enter your LogMeIn account email and password.
Click on the computer name that you added and proceed as prompted to login.
Note: Make sure your 'Host' PC or Server has LogMeIn Free (or Professional) installed on it, and it is enabled. (You can click on the icon in your system try near your clock to switch LogMeIn on or off).
