How to process Credit Cards

Setting up a credit card in the Customers
& Prospects
Open
the customer and go to the Pricing Defaults tab. Click
on the credit card info button on the right hand side. Click
the magnifying glass on the bottom empty field to bring up the Add/Edit
Credit Card Info box. Fill
in the Last name, First name and Billing Address. You
can use the Arrow button to copy the address from the customer if it is
the same. Select
the credit card type, the Expiration Month and the Expiration year from
the drop down menus. Fill
in the Credit card number and the CCV code Select
the payment type from the drop down menu. This payment type will be from
your Type of Payments table found in the company setup. If
this is the default credit card type you can check the Use as default
card box.
Taking a
payment on an invoice
Open
the invoice and click on the payments button at the bottom of the invoice. Click
on the credit card button on the right hand corner. If
more than one credit card is listed select the credit card you wish to
charge from the credit cards listed and highlight it. Check
the transaction type and transaction amount and make sure that it is the
amount you wish to charge. If
the amount is different simply type in the correct amount. You
may also change the transaction type if you need to. Click
the submit transaction. Once
the charge has went through it will come back with a green screen under
the transaction type field and tell you that the charge was successful.
If it was
unsuccessful it will come back red and give you a code as to why it did
not charge. If
you need to add a new credit card on the fly versus going through the
customer and prospects you can do so by clicking the add a new card button. If
you need to edit an existing card say the expiration date changed you
can do so by clicking the Edit Selected Card button.

the Sales Order and click on the payments button at the bottom of the
invoice. Click
on the credit card button on the right hand corner. If
more than one credit card is listed select the credit card you wish to
charge from the credit cards listed and highlight it. Check
the transaction type and transaction amount and make sure that it is the
amount you wish to charge. If
the amount is different simply type in the correct amount. You
may also change the transaction type if you need to. Click

Memo
Open
the credit memo and click on the payments button at the bottom of the
credit memo. Click
on the credit card button on the right hand corner. If
more than one credit card is listed select the credit card and amount
you wish to credit from the credit cards listed and highlight it. Check
the transaction type and make sure it says Credit. Also
check the transaction amount and make sure that it is the amount you wish
to charge. If
the amount is different simply type in the correct amount. Click
the submit transaction. Once
the credit has went through it will come back with a green screen under
the transaction type field and tell you that the charge was successful.
If it was
